Europe Elects Podcast: “Europe's Last (?) Dictatorship, with Franak Viačorka”
With thanks to Europe Elects for use of their logo image.

Welcome to the first podcast by Europe Elects published on The New Federalist!

Founded in 2014, Europe Elects launched their podcast in 2019 after becoming one of the most influential media in the European Parliament. At the weekend, we caught up with the presenter Euan Healey to hear more about the origins of the project and you can check out that interview here.

In this episode, after a quick round-up of the latest election stories in Europe, the main topic of the moment emerges: the unfolding situation in Belarus. Euan speaks to Franak Viačorka, a journalist and film-maker who has quickly become one of the leading analysts of the situation in his country (if you don’t already, go and follow him on Twitter @franakviacorka).

An unmissable episode to get up to speed on the continuing protests in “Europe’s Last Dictatorship”.
